Rice can be cultivated by Hydroponics ; but the capital investment is so huge that it is not economical.
The advantage is surely there as the cultivator need not depend upon the whims of the Rains !

Just google "rice in hydroponics”

I want to grow vegstabeles but i dont have a yard. i have a spare room that I was planning on using
From bare room to operational grow setup I would figure at least 2grand to 6 grand depending if you have the know how to configure lights and hydroponic systems from basic parts or if you will be purchasing ready made products.
Daniel asks…
does anyone know of a good cheap hydro ponics system or even a list of materials needed. for indoor havesting of tomatos
Dude, just get some rockwool and a quality fertilizer recommended for tomato. Also get some base or acid and a ph test kit. Adjust ph of water/fertilizer solution to the best range for tomato. The bigger the pot of rockwool, the better. Water daily or more often if it dries out.
Chris asks…
I would like to grow fruits and veggies inside as the weather stinks around here and would like to also know if there are free plans out there?
You can’t . But you do need grow lights for your cannabis. I suspect that’s what you plan anyway.

I’m just wondering does dro grow because of the kind of seed or from growing the seed in a hydroponics system?
Schwag seeds make schwag plants, regardless of how you grow them. Don’t waste your time and money putting schwag seeds in a hydro system.

I am writing a paper on hydroponics so i need to know how to set a system up. Thanks to all who try to help, Its greatly appreciated:)
There is no single method of hydroponics. All you need is water and a way to keep it from becoming de-oxygenated. I use aquarium air pumps in my setup, a misting water pump, and an enclosed plasic reservoir. You also need to add pure nutrients into the water and have a way to keep algae from forming (algae is the weeds in hydro gardening).
Check out hydroponic on wikipedia for all your other research.
Donna asks…
tell me all the fruits and vegetables can be grown using hydroponics system?
You can grow almost any kind of fruit or vegetable through this system.
Robert asks…
Could a hydroponics system save you time and money compared to a traditional outdoor soil system? Also, which would have the best yeilds?
If water was very expensive and the soil poor, it could save money. I just built an ebb and flow system and put some of tomatoes in very good soil but after a month the hydroponics plants are probably 3 times as large and they don’t get as much sunlight. It would normally be more expensive to use hydroponics unless the increased yield makes up for the difference. There is a bit of a learning curve on setting the pH right and suitable fertilizers are more expensive and rather hard to find.
This one didn’t cost me too much since I used mostly equipment at hand. It probably cost me about 70 bucks for all the parts I didn’t already have.

i would really like to know how to make a really cheap easy Hydroponics system can anyone help me
Go to walmart get a cheap aquarium filter, but discard the filter pad. Get a cheap container that can hold water. Get some plant food, and make some trays out of styrofoam to hold the plants and there you got a cheap hydroponics system.

I have been making hemp bracelets for the last few days, but I only know how to make two kinds, the spiral and the flat. I want to make more advanced bracelets, but I can’t figure out how. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
A lot of people have this problem. Try a pretzel knot. They are neat looking and not overly hard. Here is a link: http://bit.ly/pxOLLP
George asks…
is there any way to speed up smoothing out hemp or wear it out faster? because my bracelets are a little rough when i first finish them and then after i wear them for a few months non-stop, they become soft and lighter. is there a way to speed this up, or get the hemp soft and stuff before i make the bracelets? because all the hemp bracelets you buy in the stores are already soft and faded. how do you do that?
If you wear them in the ocean especially with the rough waves they wear out, or "accidentally” put them in the washer with something. Or with the hemp before you make it rub the string against something so it wears down, then make it.

This is one of my friends and he’s really good at showing you how to make the bracelets. There’s also several videos so go ahead and watch them all.
William asks…
I recently got a hemp bracelet/choker/anklet making kit. I find it tedious to take bracelets constantly on and off. I swim daily in a chlorine pool or a salt water pool. Will wearing my hemp bracelets in chlorine/salt water damage it over time? How about regular water when I take a shower?
Thanks=)
Yes, water will damage your bracelet, especially if it’s not made very tight. My suggestion would be to make them easy to take off, like in this picture:
http://bit.ly/r9eDWJ://www.ijitsa.com/Pictures/Hemp_Bracelets_Anklets/Macrame/zigzag_hemp_bracelet.jpg&imgrefurl=http://bit.ly/pXEpq9:&tbnh=90&tbnw=90&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhemp%2Bbracelets%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=hemp+bracelets&docid=p2miFCgerSyBTM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=PIo5TuWkNqHf0QHl2sTjAw&ved=0CCUQ9QEwAQ&dur=3163
That way you can still wear your bracelets, but they won’t ruin as quickly.
Steven asks…
I saw some really cool pictures in google of these nice hemp bracelets and i cant find how to make them ANYWERE! Its getting on my nerves.
There is this one that looks braided multipul times and i wanna learn how to make it!!! If you find a site or actually know how to make it HELP is greatly needed.

It’s a bit complicated. You can start off with some plain old fertilizer solution (e.g. Miracle Grow), but ultimately you will need to either toss the stuff after using it a few times or you will need to measure what’s depleted from the mix as the plants absorb some nutrients over others. I’d recommend a bit of reading on this.

I am baking blueberry muffins, and wanted to make at least one muffin with an extra ingredient of cannabis. But I don’t have the time or most of the supplies to do that, so I was wondering what would happen if i just finely ground it up and mix it in the batter and bake. If i can’t do that, is there an easier and quicker way to add Cannabis to my baked goods?
You CAN do it, people have been throwing chunks of cannabis in their baking for ages, but you will notice that you’re eating plant matter and not just a muffin, it will change the taste and texture a lot, and it will not be as strong.
Making canna-butter is the best way to bake with it, bar none.
Daniel asks…
Okay so I have like a pound of cannabis butter, this shit is fantastic… but it tastes awful on it’s own. I’ve had it in brownies, and mixed it with icing a couple of times. I can’t be bothered baking it into anything, so any suggestions on stuff I could mix it with to make it easier to eat?
Thanks ^_^
You can use it for any purpose you would normal butter. Any dish, snack, munchie which involves the usage of butter.. Use happy butter.
I used to make fierce goo balls with that, peanut butter and just right cereal (with the raisins and dates in it). Er, I’ll actually explain how to make those because they were so mackin. Melt butter.. Have a box of cereal that is not too sweet, but something you would have no problem scarfing down.. Pour the cereal into a big bowl.. Stream the melted butter in, turning and sifting the bowl often so it does not get soggy, just gets a lot of the butter on it. Mix in your favorite peanut butter.. And you’ll notice it’s not easy to "mix” but rather becomes this gooey mess of peanut butter cereal. This is where it gets messy. Having a plate or wax paper (waxy side up) ready.. Take a handful of this seemingly weird mixture and crush it down into a compact ball. Yes, crush it. It’s ok that the cereal is being destroyed in the process, the peanut butter will hold it together. Make a massive amount of these and stick them in the fridge to cool down and for the peanut butter to not be so flimsy. Eat, preferably with milk. Option to this is to use marshmallows instead of peanut butter (follow a rice crispy treat recipe for the marshmallow usage). =) If you were really out of it and wanted to experiment.. M&ms or added nuts or whatever you think will taste good.. Throw it in. Lol
Generally brownies are the obvious just because it’s a stoney type munchable, but the sky is the limit. I’ve cooked entire meals with it. =)
Mark asks…
I have scoured the internet and every version is slightly different. I was wondering if any oif you all had any time tested methods tio making tge stuff
Get some butter get a cannabis plant grind up the leaves and keep grinding and put it into butter and it should create a paste.
Robert asks…
Like is you totally freeze it
Nothing lasts for ever.
Ruth asks…
I am a twelve year old girl and my mom put cannabis butter in my mashed potatoes. Is this bad for my health?
Well if you’re serious, and not trolling, then no it’s not bad for your health really. Cannabis isn’t known to cause any health complications really. If you’re kidding, just go away. If you’re not, it’s illegal in the US, and in most countries to own any cannabis, smoke any, or use it in general.

Does anybody know if I can use miracle grow fertilizer in place of general hydroponic nutrient additive?
Miracle grow was never intended for hydro use and is for soil grows only. Its also not PH balanced so that’s going to be all over the place and in hydro that’s not good. Everyone ive seen use it in hydro has had issues, i reckon someone using the cheapest 1 part hydro nutes they can find will have better results than yourself using miracle grow.

Hi, Im thinking of starting a hydropinc set up in a fish tank. I understand how to build it but I was wondering If theres a formula that I add to the water so it has all the nitrogen, ph level, etc. I have directions, but they make me buy all this stuff, and I thought theres probably an eaiser way. Thanks.
It’s not illegal, its lettuce and some other stuff, and there really isn’t a hydroponic store in the middle of Iowa where I am.
No sure specifically about your setup, but this site might
have some answers:
Good Luck
Charles asks…
i have them in a bubble ponic system and 42 watt cfls but
i think i have the nutrients mixed up
they havnt grown and starting to turn brown leaves
help
tell me everything
set up
lighting
correct nutrients
Trace elements are usually what goes wrong, brown leaves is usually a Boron problem, or manganese, zinc, iron, copper, molybdenum, chlorine (yes, all plants need really small amounts of chlorine), sulfur, magnesium, and cobalt.
This is where hydrop fertilizer gets really expensive. You can’t have these minerals in regular fertilizer form since it’s the soil microbes that break them down into what the plants can use, so no soil, no microbes. You need them in their purest form, but that takes energy and hence the high prices.
This is the matrix, you cannot be told, only shown. Unlike the matrix you must show yourself thru trial and error. The first 3 to 10 attempts are to teach yourself what NOT to do, so that when you know that, you can do everything right the next time.
Start at wikipedia, in the hydroponic article. Follow every link and learn everything you can. Then put it into practise. Then start over when you fail. The matrix wants you to give up. Never give up. Profit cannot occur until you’ve succeeded in learning everything that can go wrong and doing what it takes to avoid it.
Michael asks…
Im making a bubbleponics system i need the nutrients but i have also heard that fish poop is good for the plants will the fish die if i put them in the nutrient water?
Probably not, at least in the short term. It will however, heavily promote algae growth, and your tank will end up a mess.
Paul asks…
Manure tea: get a cloth sack…..old pillow case or gunny sack….fill with manure……suspend the filled sac into a garbage can of water, cover and let "steep” for a couple of weeks or until the water is a nice "tea” brown. This solution is a bit too "hot” for straight use on smaller "container” grown plants. Dilute with water.
Another is to take compost and do the same.
David asks…
Greenhouse suppliers have ready made mixes for hydroponics. They should have all the stuff listed on a bag of Peters fertilizer. If it doesn’t have all of that–something’s missing. Look in the yellow pages for Greenhouse Supplier or go to an area greenhouse and see where they get their supplies. Most suppliers sell retail too. How much pot you growing?
Linda asks…
Some. I would have to know which nutrients specifically you are talking about. A lot of hydroponic products can also be used for general container gardening and some soil gardening.
Fox Farms makes lots of products for hydroponic growing but most can also be used in general gardening.
Keep in mind that hydroponics means growing without soil. If you actually have soil, you need less nutrient (because the soil already has some). Most products should give you mixing ratios for different applications.
Sorry this answer is vague – if you can give more specifics about what you are using it would be helpful.
